The tutorial in the above link will work for windows machines, but it's a bit easier in my opinion to do it in linux (no need to install Cygwin etc). So in order to use HTC texture packs with GlideN64 you need to extract them first. Give me a moment, I'll boot up my linux machine and try this myself to see if it works.ĮDIT: It works great and looks AMAZING! Almost 30 minutes in the Pi still runs cool and the gameplay is smooth. ![]() Link which concerns DAT files, it will work for HTC files as well. ![]() You need to extract the HTC file, inside that one you'll find the texture BMPs which you then need to convert into PNGs.
